Outdoor Education

Whether it’s curling up in a hammock with a good book or learning about plants, elementary school students across the Novi Community School District have an opportunity to learn outside of the classroom.  Thanks to a one-time grant from the state of Michigan, the NEF has transformed and created learning spaces, such as the hammock gardens, to allow teachers to move beyond the traditional classroom.

An outdoor learning space is also being built at Novi Middle School.
